Two sides, two battles. It's Season Two of Chapter Two!
Yeah. This was another very long season, and I didn't play it much until the last month, so here we go. Suit up agent, this is Fortnite Chapter 2 - Season 2!
SEASON 2: THE BASICS
Here is the Chapter 2 - Season 2 map:
Season 2's map is amazing. They took the Chapter 2 map, which was pretty good but beginning to feel a little stale, and just added and added to it. There are five key new locations, known as spy bases, and they're all absolute bangers.
The Agency in the middle of the map has to be the most popular POI since Chapter 1's Tilted Towers. The Grotto is a super-cool underground location, The Shark is an awesome tropical base, The Yacht is a surprisingly good boat POI, and The Rig... exists.

Season 2 brings a few new weapons and items. For the first time, Mythic weapons have become a normal part of the loot pool. I love the brand new Rapid Fire SMG, and the Creepin' Cardboard sure is here.
There weren't a huge amount of changes to the loot pool throughout the season but there were some, such as the weird Kingsman umbrella item that got added for a few weeks. Yeah, that was a thing.
SEASON 2: GAMEPLAY
Chapter 2 Season 2 introduces Henchmen, Bosses, Vaults and Keycards. The henchmen were way too strong and basically had aimbot at the start of the season. I love the keycard/vault system; it adds a really interesting new dynamic to the game, and you don't have to fight a boss if you don't want to (they're only found at the new spy locations).
We also have the additions of knocked enemy Shakedowns and the new vehicles, Choppas. The new gameplay features here are really great and just improve the game overall.
SEASON 2: COSMETICS
Season 2 has brought a ton of amazing cosmetics and outfits. The C2S2 Battle Pass is genuinely amazing, bringing incredible outfits like Midas, TnTina and Skye to the game. More cool skins introduced throughout the season include Envoy, the event's Cyclo and the Bassassin challenge pack skin.
SEASON 2: EVENT
Story live events returned this season, with The Device! The event saw Midas attempting to break the storm for.. some reason? We also saw a mysterious other dimension and an agent Jonesy? I have no clue what that's about, but damn if it wasn't hype.
This is by far my favourite event yet. They just keep getting better! Here's my events ranking now that we actually have a new one:

CONCLUSION
Chaper 2 Season 2 has been an amazing season! Again, I only started playing more recently so sadly I missed the content from the start of the season, but everything else has really been very solid. A great season overall, and an improvement over the (pretty alright) Chapter 2 Season 1.
